Welcome and Announcements (Council)
The Mayor will welcome members of the public , Councillors Honorary Aldermen, former Councillors and guests and will ask the Chaplain to say a prayer. The Mayor will explain the procedures to be followed at the meeting including a reminder everyone to use microphones at all times when they are speaking, but otherwise keep microphones muted.

To receive any apologies from Councillors and Honorary Aldermen.

Declarations of Interest
Councillors will be asked to say if there are any items on the agenda about which they have a disclosable pecuniary interest which would prevent them from participating in any discussion of the item or participating in any vote upon the item, or any other pecuniary interest or non-pecuniary interest.
The Mayor to pay tribute to those Honorary Alderman who have died since the start of the Covid 19 Pandemic and to invite the Council to stand for a minute's silence.

Council stood for a minutes silence in tribute to Honorary Aldermen Richard Wheeler, Ken Cooke, Terry Sutton, Janet Fulford, David Holt and former Councillor John Stevens, who had died since the start of the Covid 19 pandemic.
The Mayor to advise of the presentation to Honorary Aldermen Blandon, Green and Kimberley of a badge recognising their position as Honorary Aldermen.

The Mayor advised Council that Honorary Aldermen Blandon, Green and Kimberley had been presented with a badge recognising their position as Honorary Aldermen.
Motion that in pursuance of the provisions of section 249 of the Local Government Act 1972 this Council confers the title of Honorary Alderman on former Councillors Christopher Arnold, John Elliott and Theresa Higgins in recognition of their loyal and eminent service as a member of the Council and its constituent authority.
Details of the ceremony are included for information.

RESOLVED (UNANIMOUSLY) that in pursuance of the provisions of section 249 of the Local Government Act 1972 Council confers the title of Honorary Alderman on former Councillors Christopher Arnold, John Elliott and Theresa Higgins in recognition of their loyal and eminent service as a member of the Council and its constituent authority.
Honorary Aldermen Arnold, Elliott and Higgins offered their thanks to Council.
