Biography:

Phil moved to Colchester in 1981 when Colchester United Football Club bought him from his home town club Millwall FC.

After 14 years as a professional footballer Phil did his teacher training and gained a BA Honours degree in Sport and Education at Middlesex University and has been a PE teacher at The Gilberd School and The Colne Community School and College since 1991. 

He has held Senior Leadership, pastoral and faculty leadership roles whilst coaching teams in all sports.

Phil lives in Mile End and has helped develop initiatives, projects and improve the area.

He is very happy to hear from residents and looks forward to supporting them.
