We would like the Council to effectively manage and clean the Colchester section of the River Colne, for the following reasons:-
1. The wildlife will not be able to survive with the rate of algae;
2. It is unattractive to look at, and when cleaned could be an attraction to tourists;
3. It could be used for more water based activities, which would be welcomed by the community (e.g. years ago the Colchester Canoe club used to canoe down it every evening).
