Policy and Public Initiatives Panel - Public Engagement

The Policy and Public Initiatives Panel are inviting members of the public to submit their ideas on what items the Panel could consider as part of it's work programme.

These ideas could relate to the Strategic Plan, or to one of the subjects that the Policy and Public Initiatives Panel already have scheduled on their agenda, which includes air quality and pedestrianisation of the high street.

Members of the public can either submit their ideas and initiatives through an online survey, or by attending the next Policy and Public Initiatives Panel meeting on 19 September.

The meeting will take place in the Grand Jury Room, in the Town Hall at 6pm, and members of the public can attend and propose their item to the Panel for consideration. There will also be flip charts in the meeting room for members of the public to write down ideas, which will also be considered by Panel members.

Responses provided as part of an online survey will be included in the agenda for the Councillors to consider.

The agenda for the meeting will be published five working days before the meeting takes place and can be found on Policy and Public Initiatives Panel page.
