2.1 The Panel is asked to consider and approve the contents of the Work Programme for 2025-2026, or request amendments, additions and/or deletions.

2.2 The Panel is asked to identify any additional specific issues, matters or areas of Council operations which it wishes to scrutinise during the 2025-26 municipal year, and to provisionally schedule these items, subject to feedback from relevant officers on any issues which may affect reporting timescales.

2.3 The Panel is asked to approve the rescheduling of an item due for this meeting on 3 June 2025, to receive a briefing on progress on the Council’s review of its Housing Revenue Account [HRA]. This was not ready for consideration at this meeting, and has been set for consideration at the Cabinet meeting on 9 July 2025. The Panel is therefore asked to approve it to be moved on the Scrutiny Panel work programme and scheduled for the Panel meeting on 8 July 2025.

2.4 The Panel is asked to confirm that it wishes to receive briefings from each portfolio holder, and to direct the Clerk to the Panel to seek appropriate scheduling for these.
